WRITER AND DIRECTOR
After completing both his undergraduate and graduate studies in the Department of Theatre, Ömer Yıldırım began his artistic career as an actor and later expanded into directing, writing, and teaching.

He currently works as an instructor, director, and actor at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Cultural Events. In addition, he teaches theatre, public speaking, and communication courses at various universities. Yıldırım has directed animated television programs for TRT Çocuk (Turkey’s national children’s TV channel) and has served as a creative director and commercial film director in the advertising industry.
He is the author of the published book “Method and Character Studies in Acting.” He wrote and directed the children’s play “My Father’s Toys,” which was staged using the Black Light Theatre technique—one of the pioneering examples of this form in Turkey. He also adapted and directed the puppet play “Mr. Men and Little Miss.”
